This jacket was designed with the Slavic myth of the Noon Wraith or Lady Midday in mind. She appears as swirling clouds of dust or as a beautiful young woman. Lady Midday challenges the men to answer her questions. If they fail to answer or change the topic, she kills them with her scythe or shears. She challenges young women to dance with her. If they can dance until nightfall, she presents them with a rich dowry for marriage.
