I have several years of experience in sewing and dress history with a strong background in theatre. I have built a personal collection of antique garments for study and preservation. I seek to learn the history of dress and culture to better understand the modern world. 

For my own designs, I use my knowledge of history to create a finished product while blending modern ideas of ethical labor and sustainable practices. In the coming months, I will be launching a brand of unique pieces handcrafted with story, craft, and history in mind. It’s Madeline Designs focuses on preserving the craft of sewing and tailoring by creating individual pieces inspired by the stories all around us.
